Small Arms Trainer (SAT)

Armed Forces

SAT helps improve marksmanship skills, situational awareness, target identification, quick decision making, and reaction time.

In the military, there are risks and material costs inherent in any live-fire shooting range exercise. The Small Arms Trainer (SAT) provides an efficient, low-cost, and highly effective method for improving the combat capabilities of students through realistic, customizable threat scenarios in a safe environment.

The SAT supports up to 5 students per training exercise, and each station provides enough space to allow the student to take a standing, kneeling, or prone position, as required by the scenario. The large viewing screen provides an immersive visual environment. High-fidelity replicas of real weapons provide simulated recoil, and allow instructors to assess the number of shots fired, hit/miss statistics, accuracy, and reaction times.
